Paul's offer did not contain a GP piece. I would have likely had to trade another asset to get another GP piece which makes no sense. This works best for me. Protects my 1st rounder and pick up a couple of additional assets.

Sometimes deals need to just be made on principle and figure out the rest later.

When you're all ready a team with gp problems and 5 of your players could easily not be in the nhl next season, u gotta get a gp piece back.
