Underwhelming return on Rantanen IMO. All depends if Schmaltz can keep the pace he was showing before his injury - and if Ned can perform.

But goalies found there way in...Could of got a little more for Rinne, but made a block, and only 1 Gm inquired + it got this deal done, which i actually like....Not a deal done for this yr.. Remember Rants might be making close to or more than 10 mil next yr.

Schmaltz is 21 and Kase is 23, Neds has great potential and the 1st could be something. I had really good discussion with 5 other guys. This was my best offer (that fit my team now, and future)

It's a bold move for both sides...Will needed to load up to try to get out of that Central gauntlet and Chris gives him some options to reload for next season. I think the emergence of Jimmy's Tampa squad and the resurgence of the Metro put teams like him, Boston and myself on the sidelines this spring.

This is a great deal for Will.

Will is firmly in the 3 spot in the Central...he'll have to get through Mik or Hong. Not an enviable position either if you're WC1 in the West to face the Central champ. That'll be a nasty side of the bracket.
