Bruyns on a rampage.

GWG and Vegas goalie stats not being great is giving me some early hope.

Both teams playing well so far. Steve puts up 8 points to my one on Tuesday and now Wednesday I'm up 7-1 in points.

Still feel like I'm a big underdog on paper and have to win goaltending. Don't like the odds of Anaheim outperforming Vegas, but who knows.

Meh, it's a two week final so the fun doesn't start until the weekend. Nobody has really taken control yet.

I've texted Steve too, not a lot of trash talk needed he was my trade advisor when I first joined and after beating him last year he realized the student had become the master.

Winner of this will also be the first 3X BBKL champion, obviously B2B2B is a little more impressive especially when I didn't have another GM to act as my farm team.

In all honesty though I don't like my chances much and trash talking when behind isn't my style.

Im never surprised Steve makes it as he always has an easy path to the playoffs - the pacific doesn't really have another elite team. I guess I'm just not left feeling impressed by his playoff push. In a couple years I'll change that.

You know you have a strong team when you can still succeed without last year's Hart Trophy winner for more than half of the season.

It really shows how the best teams in this kind of a league aren't driven by one single guy. Having top talent helps but you need depth and balance on your roster because if one guy is hurt or is off their game...do you have other people to contribute. If everyone in a given week removed their best player from their lineup or even worse they played but did nothing...could you still win a matchup?
