Buds Board Keepers League

With a previous season that saw the BBKL Vancouver Canucks Captain Drew Doughty moved out as well as an offseason that had our long-time assistant captain in Ryan Kesler hit the season long LTIR, a new leadership core needed to be identified. In BBKL Vancouver we are a team of strong leaders and choosing a core to lead us going forward is no easy task. Given that we are proud to announce our New Captain Bo Horvat with new additions and NHL captains themselves Jordan Staal and Alex Pietrangelo being nominated as alternate captains.

2019-20

BBKL Anaheim is proud of the continued growth Aleksander Barkov has shown both on the ice and through the leadership he provides to his teammates. PK Subban and Colton Parayko continue to anchor an extremely young back end in Anaheim giving it the stability to grow, while Yanni Gourde does all the little things that are important in this format - a true winner!

After the departure of Erik Karlsson the Nashville Predators name Mats Zuccarello their new captain.
Zuccarello was the very first draft pick made by the Preds' current GM back in May 2010 (http://bbkl.ca/viewtopic.php?f=83&t=17#p5013) and he has always been with the team since, contributing to its steady rise in the BBKL standings. We think Mats can lead the team by example to face the challenges ahead.
