Late gdt this week, apparently.
Which player on your own team has surpassed your expectations for this season thus far?

Cirelli - knew he was good, but 34th ranked C and 16pts in 21GP is better than I expected.
HM to Svechnikov looking like a legit star in his 2nd year.

I did not expect Ryan Strome to be a top 10 BBKL centre who is a PPG and a PK machine.

Kempny would be my only candidate.

Tomas Tatar who's usually known to start off cold/inconsistent

Burakovsky is obviously my biggest surprise but as I've pointed out he's been very streaky.
Doughty has had a nice bounce back season...back to being a top 10 defenseman in the league.

None. They've all been a disappointment.

Has to be up there for most surprising league wide.

I really like the extra bit of offense cedric Paquette has been bringing, but I suppose the obvious answer for Anaheim this year is Cale Makar. No one expects a pt/gm rookie dman. Gotta imagine Loki feels similarly about Quinn H.
On another note, it looks like I should have started kahkonen rather than domingue or francouz as he's getting multiple goalie starts in Minnesota. I really need those goalie starts.

Talk to me about it... Tristan Jarry maybe?

Who do you feel is underperforming? Jonathan Toews? Sure. Missing Patrick's 30 pt pacing? I guess Cody Glass is taking care of that role. Jarry has for sure been good for you in a small sample size.

Through 9 weeks, we can figure out who are the two best teams and who are the two worst.
I think more mediocre teams are alive in the East than in the West...even my beat up team is hanging in. The 8th best team in the West has 50 more points than the 8th team in the East. There's going to be a pretty good team (or two) in the West that are going to miss the playoffs.

The 2nd-6th place teams (vcr/cgy/edm/sjs/ana) in the Pacific are separated by 32 category wins (64 pts) which in our format is fairly miniscule. W half the season left any of those teams can make or miss the playoffs. Steve has basically got the division locked up.

That was Haula, considering he was coming off major knee surgery.
Unfortunately he was sidelined again soon
And to answer the other thread's question without bumping it, I guess Dubnyk and OEL have been the most disappointing so far, but I'd expect them to rebound
