Makes big sense for Chris. His goalies were on the way out. And managed to trade a few retirees for bonino.

Understand it would be difficult to move a 10m bob after the season he just had tho.

That's my opinion and why I said didnt like it for either. Not ideal to pay that for probably average goaltending but didnt give up much and needed a goalie.

The deal all depends of Bob. I really like Matt Robertson, so that was tough, but I think I upgrade my lineup, and if Bob turns it around I have a pretty good team going into next year.

Had to move Bob and he was not going to net much, had a shit year and he's 10 mil, with the impending expansion draft waiting any longer is risky.

Luke, if the summer dragged on and you hadn't moved him, I would've talked to you about him.

Chris is doing a nice job putting distance between himself and the other wild card hopefuls in the East. Bob will need to get back to form or that could be a tough contract to hang onto.

I mean you basically gave him away. Not sure how much worse it could get.

He might not get back to 10 mil level, but he is way too good of a goalie, to not get back to better form than this year..

I mean Robertson+2021 2nd isn't much to give up for the return you got.

Let's chat Price then if you're open to 10m Vezina goalies
