Guys, I appreciate that some of you feel like you are doing me a huge favour by trading for my young prospects by giving me win now roster players, but please keep in mind that I am opting for a very patient approach here in Chicago.

I don`t want to trade two young potential roster players (assume I am referring to my actual good prospects here) for 1 roster player, even if they are young enough to fit into a rebuild - that`s just going backwards for me. I need to accumulate depth to be able to support the multiple top 5 picks that this franchise is almost assuredly going to have over the next few years. Yes, I understand that not every one of those prospects is going to pan out - and maybe I can start taking more risks in the next couple of years to start rounding out my roster. But for now, please don`t storm out of a PM conversation saying that I am an asshole and difficult to deal with because you disagree with my approach. That`s not cool.

I can be very annoying sometimes (ok often enough), but if you really want to make a fair deal, I'm honestly pretty fun to talk with. We can talk, but don`t get all pissy when I say things like - this does nothing for me, or how does this make sense for me? Don't be afraid to start a conversation, but also don't expect me to bend over and take it like some people here expect from bottom feeders. I'm in this for the long haul - short sighted deals is not on my agenda.

Still have some cap space to use if GMs need to make some trades.
