Getting value for stephenson while he's in his best possible situation seems like a smart idea. Scott paid a 2021 3rd for him. So essentially profits gurianov.

Not sure what Scott paid for him has to do with Stephenson's current value. If he paid a 3rd for Gurinov in a vacuum then great deal for scott, but that's not how things work.

I gave up a 3rd for a guy that hope would just get me some GP and chip in as a bottom 6 guy. Obviously his playing situation and his overall stock went up. The pick I got back isn't quite as good but the investment is also behind the upside of Gurianov.
He's a pleasant surprise in that he was a guy floundering in Washington...gets moved and does well in a new situation. (Burakovsky anyone?) He's an unusual fit on that line with Stone and Pacioretty. I can't figure out what his comp is.
