Final week before the playoffs.
Bunch of matchups still to be decided as there are many teams really tight in the standings.

Pick two options. 1 from the east. 1 from the west. Everyone chose 2 teams from the east lmao.

Hard not to pick two from the East. The East is definitely more top heavy and the West is deeper imo.

I got confused thinking old East/West but Mik is East now I guess this season.

I'd say there are more quality teams that could make their way through this year than in the past. East definitely is the easier path. At least is should be through rd 1.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if any of the 8 teams came out of the West.

yeah the problem is I ended up giving up Gurianov in the deal with you, if I knew I'd also end up trading Buchnevich later on I'd have pushed hard in another direction to get Stephenson without losing Gurianov.

Still, if I look around at the other top teams it seems I have on the wing similar depth to theirs.
I took the risk, it all comes down to injuries anyway... I mean, in past years all my depth couldn't help in the playoffs when the players I dressed got injured on Tuesday... until that shit is fixed it's all pretty random no matter how deep your team is.
I still have 9 NHL wingers for 6 slots, hopefully Zuccarello's injury is short term, with this renewed roster that is going to be important, one way or the other

BUF - FLA
NSH - TB
WSH - PIT
DAL - NJ

You should be able to dominate FOW category with Crosby/Barkov/Larkin/Stephenson and then Hintz as 5th guy is really good depth. You've always had really good defensemen...even when you unload guys like Ekholm and Manson. I think you can overcome anything you gave up on the wing...you have plenty of offense at center and defense and it's not like you have bad group wingers...you just did a bit of overhaul.

In the end, I'd still put you on the short list of title contenders.

Kyuss is going to have 5 players go on covid protocol 20 minutes after roster lock. This is the way.

I dunno why the league just doesn`t put a max gp limit for players during the playoffs and let us put in players in the event of injuries. We already do it for goalies...

Losing a matchup because of injuries or Covid must be a really irritating way to lose. We have the technology to make this a more enjoyable playoff experience, so why not try? With Covid, this is the best year to test it out.

We should almost use a similar rule used in the MLB playoffs. If you replace a guy on your active roster due to injury, you can't bring them back in.
