Some weird choices like Bayreuther from CBJ with no side deal. Waiting on seeing what other side deals there are to explain other questionable picks. I think they did decent overall, young and cheap and can chase after some UFA or take on contracts in trades. I don't think they have the offence to surprise like VGK did but I didn't think VGK would be any good so who knows.

Disappointed Leafs lost McCann, would have rather exposed Holl.

and CBJ pick probably just to have their AHL depth competitive. Bayreuther is a mature pro who excels in AHL
they werent gonna waste it on domi or grigs
and maybe they werent a fan of gabe carlsson

Phillips was probably the next best option and he might not be anything. Already heard rumours of a Gio for R Strome deal. I think they will flip him.
