I think Buffalo takes a slight step back in the east due to losing E Kane, but there still arent many true challengers in the east. Anyone who makes a few good competing trades in that conference can make the playoffs in the east. Thom has a deep ass team.
Tons of depth in the west as far as talented teams, but only so many can make the cut. LAK take a step back in the west. I think there are 13 teams in the west that can make the playoffs and actually be a tough first round matchup.
