Organizational focus - continuing to keep my fingers in the pie of competing on the edge and then being able to "go for it" when the right year comes up
Happy to make any type of deal ... if someone wants actual NHL talent - happy to move off some, also happy to gather more NHLers.
Centers: Center in...center out in any deal now after Schenn being moved. All area multicat guys with various strengths.
Peak career ages.
Zibanejad -29years old - 1st line C - every category production . Better suck me off good for him.
Bennett - 25 years old - - 50+ points +PIMs, >3SOG/game, 2nd line PPP producer, almost 2 hits/game, decent FOW and SHTOI. multicat beast.
Dvorak - 26 years - 45-55 point with 10 FOW/Game, 1.8sog/game, and almost 2 SHTOI/game. multicat producer. Sucks he plays for a joke city.
JG Pageau - 29years - 40-45points 1.5shots 2.5 hits, 10FOW/game - 2 SHTOI a game. BBKL Monster.
Wingers : Variety of solid contributing wingers. Prime competing Parts - 1st round plus blue chip - ie for Rust etc.
Hughes - 20 years old - oh baby. Glad I didn't get Kappo
. Very unlikely to move baring god father offer.
Rust - Multitool extra-ordinaire. 29 years - 70+ point pace, 3 sog/game, PPP 1st line production, .75min a game on the PK
Iafallo - 28years 2nd line wing that shoots/pks.
Bjorkstrand - scoring winger 2 shots, 1 hit, 1st line PPP.
Defense - I certainly have a mold for these guys ... All PK at least 2 mins if not 3 mins a game
Dumba - #2 D man - 27, about a 40 point pace with shots and hits at a 2.5 rate.
Pelech - #2-3 D man - 25-30 points, 1.25 shots, 1.25hits 1.5-1.75 blocks ++SHTOI
Graves - Pelech 2.0
Mayfield - Pelech 3.0
Marino - DIscount Pelech but 24 so may turn into a Pelech 4.0
Mayo - what a find off the garbage pile. no offense - But a Hitter and blocker with a LOT of PK. league minimum salary for 3 years. Hard to deal that. Maybe he's a super discount Pelech 5.0 !
Nemeth - traditional 3rd pair PK/Hit SHTOI D man. Likely to munch minutes.
Goalies - 1 capital S Starter, one 1A at worst.
Husso - at worst 1a in DET.
Elvis - CLB starter
