On vacation for a week - happy to chat some trades with people more engaged now with the draft
My goals are to cut some cap and stay competitive. Ideally don't want to move guys like Copp/Forsberg/Trouba, but if i'm getting top picks/prospects/young NHLers back I'm definitely all ears. Not looking to shop my 2023/24 1sts. Would take draft picks back if the value is there.
Centre:
Andrew Copp (27Y, ?$$)- in for a big raise, but key contributor in all cats.
Erik Haula (31Y, 2.375M)- really came on in the 2nd half of the year; good cheap value contract
Nolan Patrick/Cody Glass/Mitchell Stephens- not looking to sell low on these two, but if you are interested, open to chatting prospects/picks.
Wing:
Filip Forsberg (27Y, ?$$) - also in for a big raise, top end offense who hits and used to PK
Jake DeBrusk (25Y, 4M) - nice contract... likely stays in BOS with coaching change... but who knows
Andre Burakovsky (27Y, ?M) - another player in for a raise, likely away from COL
Marcus Johansson/Brett Ritchie/Ryan Dzingel/Buddy Robinson - GP bodiies for mid-late round picks
Defense:
Jacob Trouba (28Y, 8M) - BBKL beast can put a team over the top.
Brandon Montour (28Y, 3.5M) - good contracts for the offensive production
Marco Scandella (32Y, 3.275M) - solid periphs, steady aging D-man.
