Obviously not...facey wroteCOLONis it going to last?

Yes.facey wroteCOLONMSP4LYFE wroteCOLONObviously not...facey wroteCOLONis it going to last?

I wish I could honestly say that he's going to really cool off... but he's 20.... shit could just be getting real.
I don't evem think sid/ov ever hit 140, nevermind 164 for stammer.facey wroteCOLONyou think its impossible for him to get 164 points?MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONObviously not...facey wroteCOLONis it going to last?

I'd say its insanely unlikely, nothings impossible. Who knows maybe some team signs Toskala and their starter, back up and the Zamboni guy get injured. Baring the unforeseen I'd doubt anyone this year tops 130-135. Injuries happen.facey wroteCOLONUnlike Sid, Stammer has awesome line-mates ... and he's more consistent shift in and shift out then Ovy... I'm not saying I think he'll get 160, but I'm saying its not impossible.
I've seen over 70% of TB's games since the lockout, as I love their style of play, and have followed Stamkos' career closely since he was drafted by Sarnia. Needless to say I love the kids game, but to say he is more consistent shift in and shift out than OV is insane...OV is one of the most consistent hockey players in the world, if not the most. He is visible, and dangerous every single shift, and demands double coverage on most nights (something Stamkos doesn't have to worry about yet). By contrast there are TONS of shifts Stamkos goes missing, particulaurly 5 on 5. Thankfully he is a killer on the pp, and his 24 pp goals last season demonstrate that, but he is not the same calibre as OV/Sid. Just a tier below.facey wroteCOLONUnlike Sid, Stammer has awesome line-mates ... and he's more consistent shift in and shift out then Ovy... so he's a tier below crosby and ovechkin but is going to score more points then either of them ever have?SuperMario wroteCOLONI won't disagree that Stamkos is a tier below ov/crosby. BUT i think he can crack 60 goals and 130 points this year. The odds on favourite to win all the trophies imo.
putting up points does not necessarily mean better. stamkos has the opportunity and skill to do it this year. but id still take crosby/ov before him to build a champion.anton wroteCOLONso he's a tier below crosby and ovechkin but is going to score more points then either of them ever have?SuperMario wroteCOLONI won't disagree that Stamkos is a tier below ov/crosby. this year:MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONYeah...I think your out to lunch on this one Shiv, the highest point total since the lockout is 125 by Jumbo Joe, if anyone is going to crack that total it will be Ov, not Stamkos.
My prediction for Stamkos: 55G, 50A (105 PTS)

Stamkos: 55+ Goals, 120+ points
Ovechkin 50+ Goals, 110+ points
Crosby 50+ Goals 110+ points
Hank/Dank 110+ points
lol one team has 4 out the 5 there...
LOL at Crosby scoring as much as OV, and Stamkos scoring more. Do you watch hockey?SuperMario wroteCOLONthis year:MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONYeah...I think your out to lunch on this one Shiv, the highest point total since the lockout is 125 by Jumbo Joe, if anyone is going to crack that total it will be Ov, not Stamkos.

whoa whoa whoa.. now, Stamkos is fuckin sick, no doubt about it but to say he's "by far" the best offensive player in the league is insanity. Sid & OV are just off to "slow"er starts then normal and Stamkos is in a zone.sgupca wroteCOLONI'm with Nick, facey wroteCOLONyou think its impossible for him to get 164 points?MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONObviously not...facey wroteCOLONis it going to last?

I think this kid is going to outscore Crosby and ovey yearly now...he's by far the best offensive player in the NHL.
It's funny because both OV and Sids rookie season are higher than Stamkos career year, and they have consitently produced higher than any other players since entering the league, and yet Stamkos is the better offensive player...Some of you really need to give your head a shake.Raptactics wroteCOLONwhoa whoa whoa.. now, Stamkos is fuckin sick, no doubt about it but to say he's "by far" the best offensive player in the league is insanity.
