This is something that I've been waiting to say for a while...

At this point, I don't care anymore what the elitists have to say about my trades...I'm here to have fun. Instead of trying to act like I'm the smartest or most clever fantasy GM ever...everything I do here is because I'm enjoying myself and I like to wheel and deal. I don't make a deal and then wait for what the geniuses of this league have to say about it. Besides...for every one pat on the back I get for a good deal, I get 20 kicks in the stomach for making a bad deal. Where's the balance in that?

This is final time I'm responding to any criticism. If you don't like what I do, that's your opinion but I don't live or die by anything that is said about me. I'm here to have fun and not take myself too seriously. Maybe some of you should do the same. If my team wins, great...if they lose, that's fine too. We're playing a game...not actually running an NHL team. If my existence here truly bothers most of you then kick me out already.

Believe it or not, I like being in this league but I seem to be a repulsive person to some of you and I can only imagine the things said about me behind my back because that's how some of you probably roll. Instead of treating the trade forum like it's the playground and we're throwing dirt in each others face...let's just make our moves and shut up.

shoalzie this is a serious fantasy league. we are all here to have fun but the objective here is to have gms who all are making progress towards winning not just making trades to have fun. so when you make bad trades they will get criticized. but everyone in this league gets their bad trades ripped apart. and it has nothing to do with you. good trades get commended. bad trades get criticized. its part of the fun you were talking about.

To be honest, i don't see anything wrong with this deal

In the long run Scotty gets the best player in the deal, and IMO Begin could turn out to be a really solid depth player with the Preds.

As of now Malone is stuck on the 3rd line in TB and only getting 11-13mins per game.


Give Scotty a break, he's starting to build some nice prospects for the future.

FTR I haven't said one thing behind your back that I haven't said to your face, the same goes for everyone else in this league.

Sorry there Shoalzie... I believe I can comment on your trade , be of the belief that you left value on the table, and not want you out of the league.

Malone ain't that bad, actually if you want PIM and hits and pts he's good for that.

Yea don't read into any comments in the trade thread dude. I have made many trades and got ripped and i have made comments on others trades that i ripped on them too. Its all in good fun and everyone has a different opinion. No one can say they know more than the other person, therefore it is all just comments. You make a very valid point about fun. And i totally agree. I just wish that the rest of the league was as active as say 15 of us that just like to talk hockey and BBKL back and forth. Imagine if the entire league was as active in the forum community as the top 15 or so.. That would be really fun to me...
