you all know that after Datsyuk, Giroux is my favourite player on my team. but i'm putting him out there. if you want him, i expect overpayment. if you won't overpay, don't even bother making an offer. and i wont be trading him right away. i'm going to give it at least a weak to see whats out there. make your offers.

LOL i still think youre awesome tony . but yeah the problem was the only way for me to move giroux to take on toews would have been to lose lidstrom. and personally id take giroux at 0.822 over toews at 6+ any day of the week. i dont even think id do it straight up even if i had the cap room (i realize people think im crazy for making statements like this) but the kid has 22 points in 21 games at 0.822m. and hes signed for ONLY 3.75 for 3 more years. too big of a bargain imo especially if he becomes the 85+ point player that he is on his way to becoming.
