Yeah...I disagree. Michael Latta is a stud, if any of you watched him play you wouldn't be saying this. I made the deal because I believe in Stewart whose stats aren't even as good as Dupuis.

FTR I wouldn't deal Latta for Lalonde straight up...

Ya really this was for the prospects I'm getting back... I initially happily declined when he offered me P.Dupuis for A.Stewart straight up. I have future planned pieces that are currently injured but will be either back or be dealt for better offensive threat later on, and I could afford to lose Stewart for the kind of periphery stats Pascal offers, and the kind of prospects I'm getting back. I have lost quite a bit of PP power for this, but the season's still fresh.

Scott approved it. I was under the impression the whole buddy system was it was up to the buddy, but apparently admins can approve it as well? (So Scott, Mike, Mash?) I'm not entirely sure on that process.

I don't see the rush in not waiting for Bry if its a fair deal after all.

I did not intend to start a veto/bash worthy thread... this trade is of minimum consequence on the scheme of things.

In fact I double checked the trade was 100% processed before commenting.


I do believe its a clean & clear win for Kareem, but at least with small-ish pieces, got some learning to do though new guy No need to rush trades work that buddy system!!!

I told Paul I really didn't like this deal for him but I seen no reason to deny him from making it. He liked the pieces coming back a lot more then what was going out. I'm not going to stop a deal if it's just a win for the other team.. I'll only stop it if it crushes the Hurricanes.

It sounds like regardless he wanted to make this trade even if he waited two weeks or his buddy helped him out I understand is the concern that if he leaves the league that it hurts the next owner but that clearly wasn't a concern previously so let him make deals and hope that he sticks around but telling him he made a bad deal or got raped isn't going to make him feel wanted or stick around, he was told it wasn't great but he chose to go ahead anyways so lets move on. Remember you have to like some things on your team to want to stay active.
