I didn't approve it. I come home and the trade is posted.

Just fyi. I approved this deal. Paul came to me with what was offered and explained why he wanted to make it (had 61 skaters, lack of picks) and Bertilsson's injury history. I said ok, you've stated your case well, go for it. I just figure just because I don't like the deal there is no reason for me to stop it.

If the offer was for his key players etc I'd advise differently... but Paul stated his case to me just fine.

19 year old dman playing in the SEL, 3rd round pick from a much stronger draft (best swede year ever).... I'm not saying he's some young stud, but value-wise he's definitely more then a 5th, why was he selected as a throw away prospect?

He was a low third, and bringing up the strength of Swedes in that draft is stupid, he didn't contribute to it, he was a project defensive d-man at the time, and still is to this day. The chances of that coming back to bite Carolina are slim to none, I won't argue that there were others who could have been moved before him, but at the end of the day the difference is negligible..

no where in our CBA says if the person is part of our forum for any lenght of time the trade clause gets lifted. Give your guys head a shake. i sent my issue to mr. bruin, the head of CC .. ill let it be dealt with the proper way ( the one we made rules about)

There is no specification that you need to be a GM, it merely says GM, nor does it say being entered in the league, in any capacity doesn't count towards the limit.

PM whoever you want, I don't care, it isn't changing.
