Honestly, it wasn't a joke. I've watched both a ton and in my opinion, Bailey's the better player.SuperMario wroteCOLONLOL.Raptactics wroteCOLONBetter then Nazem KadriSuperMario wroteCOLONjosh bailey sucks.
There really isn't even a comparison, everything Bailey does well Kadri does better, and he provides a gritty aspect to his game that Bailey doesn't. Their games as of today are close, and Kadri is only a rookie, meanwhile Bailey is a third year player.Raptactics wroteCOLONBetter then Nazem Kadri
Third year player cause the islanders are a shit team at developing their talent.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONThere really isn't even a comparison, everything Bailey does well Kadri does better, and he provides a gritty aspect to his game that Bailey doesn't. I completely disagree with that statement. All of their top prospects to date look they are going to be apart of a very good core moving forward: John Tavares, Travis Hamonic, Kyle Okposo, Calvin De Haan, and even Josh Bailey. You can disagree with their methods all you want, but since the arrival of new management there have been no notable busts or wasted top picks.inferno31 wroteCOLONThird year player cause the islanders are a shit team at developing their talent.
We'll agree to disagree.. I really do not want to start a debate. But I will say I've seen both play a lot and I like Bailey's game a lot better. Just as skilled, a good defensive player, doesn't have the edginess of Kadri but Bailey has a lot of untapped potential. We'll reopen this discussion in 4-5 years.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONThere really isn't even a comparison, everything Bailey does well Kadri does better, and he provides a gritty aspect to his game that Bailey doesn't. Historically they have been very poor in bringing up their talent. Things have changed when they hired Scott Gordon and Snow took over, However they have many high picks and I'm not sure throwing them straight into the NHL is best for their development. They currently even have concerns about Tavares struggling with development without a veteran presence on his line. They have isolated their young picks without much veteran talent around them, and thrown them into the fire and into that culture much too soon IMO. If you choose to disagree with that thats entirely up to you, I'm just saying its not something historically successful teams do. Wang is a bit crazy, I'm unsure if that team will even be in Long Island much longer.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONI completely disagree with that statement. Don't you get it Kareem? Scott agrees with us but needs to say otherwise on here to sell his player .MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONThere really isn't even a comparison, everything Bailey does well Kadri does better, and he provides a gritty aspect to his game that Bailey doesn't.
