Based on what exactly? Leino is 6th on the team in TOI/G, 36 seconds behind Hartnell for 5th, and the 5th most productive player on the Flyers (53 points). By no definition is that a 12th forward...Love him or hate him, Ville Leino is a key fixture on the Flyers top 6.
Chris did very well in this deal, he traded middling picks in a weak draft for a proven asset.

You would have been foolish to turn it down, IMO. The market for 2011 picks isn't great enough to justify passing on a proven top 6 forward like Ville Leino.

Leino is also a UFA and won't be on Philly next year..
He could sign with the Islanders and line up beside Tavares.

anyone who thinks chris lost is insane lol. I have my reasons for making the deal but he did very well.
