Kareem placing a lot of faith in Markstrom -> I haven't checked/heard, is he having a killer rookie camp going on or just speculation?

No. Word is that he will be back to the minors after camp. lol I made sure of that before I accepted.

Kareem has his reasons for doing this deal though.

It's the Florida tandem, so it's not like it means anything to anybody other than bottom feeders looking for GP :)

What, are 9 2nd / 3rd liners going to get them into the playoffs?

How can you make a comment like this yet believe in the Leafs? Panthers have a VERY underrated team:

Off the top of my head:

Booth-Weiss-Fleischmann
Upshall-Huberdeau-Kopecky
Bergenheim-Santorelli-Versteeg
Goc-Skille

Campbell-Jovanovski
GudBranson-Kulikov
Ellerby-

Theodore-Clemmenson

I know that's not their full line up there but that Line up can play. They will put up a solid amount of wins. May not make the playoffs, but are easily not a write-off.

They will finish 11-15 in the conference, they are write-offs.

Probably bottom 3.

11th to 15 is a HUGE range lol. 14/15th in the conference are lottery teams. 11th team in the Conference last year put up 38 wins - New Jersey. Florida could easily finish 9-12th.

Fine.

Florida will be bottom 3, along with Ottawa and Winnipeg.

Winnipeg and Ottawa will be worse imo. 9-12 is where Florida falls IMO. If Huberdeau/GudB have sensational rookie seasons, this team will surprise people. IMO Tallon has put together a team of incredibly underrated players.

That's the thing. As of now, Florida finishes 10-13. But if Huberdeau/GudB have solid rookie campaigns they can do better. They have a good team. It can keep up with a lot of teams that would finish 7-12.
