I've gotten some interesting offers so far. So in the spirit of turning the tables on the guys trying to take advantage of the poor newbie, I'm publicizing Couture's availability to an offer I deem appropriate to my blueprint, Couture's value - and likelihood of achieving his potential - and the fact that want to see what's out there.

Once again, thanks for the warm welcomes from all, and let the bidding begin!

I've gotten some big offers for Couture so far. The most recent one is a big one. I don't know how you boys operate around here, but apparently showing cards isn't poor etiquette lol...

But I got about five guys sending some serious offers. Keep 'em coming. I'll have answer by August 8th.

Showing your cards is encouraged in bidding wars.

Yeah, the only things that don't fly are lying and generally posting offers on the forums that other people have made. Much less taboo telling someone on MSN the offer you have, though.

Showing other people's cards make me feel like I'm just leveraging other manager's in public when I'd rather do it behind the scenes. Besides, I don't want to hurt Couture's feelings 8)

I just give vague answers. I don't want to be the cunt that leverages people's offers. I'm pretty straight-forward. Send me your best offer, and I'll tell you if it meets what I perceive to be the best offer, or if it falls short.
