Losing out on hits? Replaceable down the road. Couture's was a rookie - funny how many forget that there have been documented cases of sophomores hitting the slump. Raymond's got a broken back - some come back without issues, others never recover.
But I suppose I could have gotten my building blocks by dangling Couture, Brouwer, Neil, and Raymond in front of Kareem. Right facey?

not to nit pick, but if you're building for 2012 then why would a sophmore slump matter? in fact, wouldn't it benefit you? you get the GP without the nasty production that would get you out of the basement.
not hatin, just sayin.

When I made the trade, that was my line of thought. I thought I would hold on to Perry. But after talking it out with some of the people around here about the health of the league and the league's plans for the future, I decided to just blow it all up and rebuild with high-upside guys. Kareem did the same apparently. No sense in settling for always being the bridesmaid with Couture when I could have RNH.

Don't take the criticisms to heart, I never do, and at the end of the day I'm better than most of these scrubs anyways

Whoever says this trade is bad is an idiot, straight up...I offered WAY more for Perry, as did other teams.

Perry is worth a lot, but not that much ... only my opinion of course.
There should be a rule of no trading with Scott for the first month for all new GMs

Chris Neil and Troy Brouwer are third liners. Yes they put up nice H2H stats, but they are easily replaceable, I am not exaggerating when I claim that I would make that deal everyday of the week, and twice on Sunday's.

Actually on HF they made a rule for the newbies. It was you can't make a deal with Fedro91 for the first couple weeks for newbies.
