NJD/VAN

Yup
Re: NJD/VAN
in the past i've seen lots of deals that don't seem to make sense, but this, made in the middle of the Summer, may top all of them.
(i mean, taking away the part where Scott fills with BS the newcomer's head)

Mind telling me what Klefbom's upside is? Or his chances of reaching it? I get the 100/100/100 guy.kyuss wroteCOLONin the past i've seen lots of deals that don't seem to make sense, but this, made in the middle of the Summer, may top all of them.

it's not about the euros...MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONLOL, and people say I'm biased towards the Euro's...
it's just an apparently solid 1st round pick dealt by a rebuilding team for a #7/8 31yrs old defenseman to gain salary when he makes 1.5M and there are months before the season starts.
It's a deal that has no hope whatsoever to make sense or turn out successful.
best case scenario, Klefbom is a bust and he traded him for almost nothing; even in this case, he could have traded him for something better before Klefbom showing to be a bust, so would still be a lousy trade.
Worst case scenario, he traded a stud for almost nothing for no reasons.
It's just a trade he probably would have never made if given time..whereas he just entered the league and was overwhelmed by shit.

Have to agree here seems like Scott has a really good social game. With a few months of experience for the new gm and he most likely doesn't make this dealkyuss wroteCOLONit's not about the euros...MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONLOL, and people say I'm biased towards the Euro's...

I second that since I feel Vancouver was a playoff team. Now they are a bottom 5. Is it allowed for a team to drop that much?
Also I feel it was a couple deals too many. You made some very good deals, interesting but most of them are lack of judgement.
Ps. I feel your a good gm but please ask arround if a deal is fair. Also don't ask anyone, make sure you trust them. Now found me someone? LOL!!
By the way Thx for the sig....

Who cares if a team is a playoff team if you can't stand the roster (No offense to Bergs, but that team wasn't winning anything any time soon with some of the teams people are putting together), or if you think you have no chance of actually winning the whole thing? I fucking hated my team when I took it over (was a playoff team), shipped out a ton of the asswipes that I had playing for me and even missed the playoffs last year as a result (although it was only by like half a second SHTOI) . I have to say though, that going into this season my team is WAY stronger than it once was as a result of the moves I made (I know for a fact lots of GMs didn't like a lot of the moves either). Not to mention I actually like the players on my roster now.
As for asking around to see if a deal is fair. When it comes down to it, who the fuck cares what another GM has to say about a move that you want to make? If the GM running his team, likes the deal, that's all that really matters.
The only deal that I didn't much like for Vancouver was the deal he made trading MAF. I have to say though, he probably just agreed so you would stop fucking sending him seizure attacks on MSN .
Also, Frank, you are one to talk about making deals that lack judgment. You have had your share in this league .

Funny because this deal was made in literally 5 seconds. Chris asked for Erskine, I said Oleksiak, he said done but remembered he wanted to save him for someone else so he said Klefbom. I said ok. No lie. Some mind fuck eh?
