I like this for shiv,

I'm not sold crosby will ever be the same again. If he returns to form bry wins this deal, but according to reports he has just started working out again.

Hopefully he is marc savard V2

Because you both have good teams, and he would benefit the most from not having to go through you in the playoffs.

I pray to God, Crosby comes back and tears it up again. For the sake of hockey lol.

As far as the trade itself is concerned, Heatley will light it up with Koivu. He was playing hurt all of last year. And you all know how I feel about Datsyuk. What's fantasy hockey without your favourite player on your team?

Just like Heatley was supposed to light it up with Thornton and get 60 goals easy? IMO he hasn't been the same the last 4 years. He could bounce back, but I don't count on it.

Though clearly understand the Datsyuk sentimental value.

I think this is a genius move for Shiv in the present, moving forward there is no better player than Crosby, so good move for Bry.

I find it funny how often Sid has moved in the last two months, you would think he of all players would stay in one spot rather than being tossed around.

Nah but I think Heatley can hit 40 goals and 80 points in Minny. All I need from him. And the change of scenery + not having as many talented forwards around him means he will have more chances to score.

Make sure you don't trade him for Kyle Quincey.
