Meh, Gormley is the highest ceiling player in this deal, pretty good move for both IMO.

I agree with this.

I'm more than comfortable making this deal, a year ago I had Gormley ranked as the third best player, and the top defenseman available. Since then Fowler has separated himself from the pack, but I still like Gormley more than anyone not named: Seguin, Fowler, and Seguin from 2010. So I don't view it as overpayment in the least.

This is a professional big-boy trade. Someone as scrubby as me would never be able to come near this. It's like me and my little stock civic approaching a Tim Horton's parking lot of BMW 7 series, Rolls Royce and AMG galore.
