i like it for shiv, definitely nice pick up regardless of the conditions, markov could be healthy and play a full season but chances are pretty low, he still improves nicwely with a cheap contract in kulemin

sharp is still on a 3.9er for 1 more year. wouldn't have done this if he was making 5.9 this season

either way, markov makes this a win or loss for me based on health

fingers crossed.

I have no idea why Shiv made this deal...Anton got the best two players in this deal, and a condition on Markov's health.

well so far this deal has run the table on possible reactions:

1 like for shiv
1 like for anton
1 like for both

it's gonna be a close race

I told Shiv not to make the deal and wouldn't listen to me. I feel that Shiv could of gotten more since he traded the best player but he also traded the riskier player in the deal.

I see Sharp getting arround 65pt to 75 pts at the most with some face off Win,arround 50 PIM at most, good +/-,alot of shot,PPG10+,SHG2.
Kulemin will get arround 50 to 65 at the most but I don't see him getting more then 60 pts with +5,less then 25 PIM,Shot should improve to 200,PPG 8 more then 8
Ehroff should get 50+ pts with a great plus minus, over 200 shot,PPG 6,less then 50 PIM
Markov is very suspect.

I do agree that Shiv got the 2nd and 3rd best player of the deal. So the more and more I think about it, it's a fair deal. But since when does Shiv make fair deal?
At the moment I'll give the win to Pitts. Also Montreal felt Markov is back and that's why they gave him a contract. But if Markov fall to another injury then he's done and it's a massive win for pitts since Sharp isn't better then Ehroff and Kulemin. Also it's a good risk to take if your Chicago you get the best player and possibly the 2nd best if Markov is recover 75 % and more.

Good deal guy's but Shiv could off had more and I don't agree that shiv put a condition on Markov health.

Deal under review for illegal condition.

Topic should be discussed by CC.

GP are not allowed as a condition.
Hopefully that should officially change soon, but contestually to when that would happen, you obviously wouldn't be able anymore to trade assets you do not own.

So basically, even if for some reasons the CC decided to bring on the new rules for this deal already (before an official decision and public anouncement ever came) and GP were to be allowed, the last part of the condition would then become illegal since you don't own any 2nd rounder.

No but this isn't a condition where GP is being used to create an unreasonable condition. It is a very valid measuring stick in this case.

lol that's completely irrelevant.
Conditions over GP (unfortunately) have not been allowed in this league for quite a long time.
