Nick didn't get DET's actual backup, and the difference between Howard and Hiller is not that big to begin with, not to mention the fact that I needed the cap as well.

I hope Hiller's vertigo issues are not a problem for you. If he's healthy I agree Hiller's solid. I just mentioned Little because he seems to be in every offer Nick makes lol.

Hiller is better then Howard, no performance gap there, just cap... Price seemed steep to me

It's health more than anything. Anaheim has got a great group of skaters. They need him to be healthy.

You could've had them saying that if we made that trade earlier. No wait, it would've been with me so I would've be deemed the winner before people seen the moving assets.

Love this deal for Matt, H2H there is no goalie I would rather have than Hiller...Anaheim is consistently one of the most penalized teams in hockey which means elite shtoi, and they give up a ton of shots against which means a higher save percentage for an elite goaltender like Hiller, as well as strong W totals due to the overall strength of the team. The only weak point is GAA, but given all the other strengths who really cares?

Kareem is 100% right, only king henrik is as reliable for shtoi & sv% as Hiller. GAA can get high, but he's also a shutout goalie.
