Nilsson actually has solid upside. Goalie guild had him moving up 18 ranks since last report (tied for higest increase). In terms of the Islanders farm theyre high on Poulin then its a toss up between koskinen & Nilsson. Ive heard arguments for either side and even a couple saying Nilsson will be even better than Poulin. Its a risk but could pan out for Chris in the long run.

Steve: The Islanders' system. When looking around, I figured I could go with Anderson and try to get Lehner, or I could make a few moves to set up the Islanders' system because not a single person here seems to know (other than Kareem and Hong) how talented and deep the Isles' goaltending pipeline is. Arian was asking for too much for Lehner, so I went the cheaper - and ultimately short-term hit - for a long-term payoff.

And it's only a matter of time before Ricky is shuffled off to Bridgeport (or voluntarily retires) and Montoya proves why he was a bust in the first place. If Nabokov stays the year, I still have Anderson to cover my GP.

Losing Palmieri hurts, but it was obvious that Chuck had me by the balls when he saw that I was trying to put the Islanders' pipeline together.

Anders Nillson is actually a sweet fucking goaltending prospect, price is a bit steep but its not a bad deal.

It was because when you approached me, Chuck had asked for Palmieri. I was looking for other options, but moving Palmieri after Chuck had asked for him would have required overpayment on your part.
