Jensen is gonna get like 50 points in the NHL this year. So is TBL 1st 2012. STL 1st 2013 should have like 400 pims and 300 hits. RAAAPPPEEEEE.

Smart call by Shep, good trade for Mike. If Mueller is putting up quick numbers again his value is notably higher then this, if he's watching from a dimly lit room again, well it's obviously a little lower :P

I WOULD!

Jensen blows, TBL and STL 1sts should be mid-late 20s.

SHIP IT

Jensen doesn't actually blow, but nobody wanted him. I love Mueller, kid is pimp. If he is healthy this year, he'll put up 65+ points.

If people manned up like Mike they could have got this overpayment. When I offer Skille, Jensen, 1st.. all it takes is a counter and you get this kind of payment.

WOOPS SORRY BOYS!

I don't know, I love this for shep if mueller comes back and isn't a total pussy. If he's scared to play the puck (because of a big hit) then mike wins.

As of now this deal is huge for Shep

Three late (25-30) 1sts for a 23-year-old top-6 winger with great upside? I do not find this to be ridiculous, and I wager most of the GMs who finished in the top-10 last season would agree with me.

Mueller - Stastny - Landeskog
Jones - Duchene - Hejduk

Mueller has lots of talent he could be playing with.

Yep.

Mueller comes back unfazed and he's worth more than I gave up. Late picks are overrated IMO. Granted it's still a lot, I'd do it for a super young talent with untapped potential. The risk is there with the head, but I can certainly afford to take that risk.

Some acknowlegement of his injury history would put that payment into context, Mike. Even so, rebuilding doesnt favour this kind of trade.

Niether Mike nor I are rebuilding.

He has too many players. I could use some youth for my lineup who's value can really only go up.
