I'm surprised this trade isn't getting more hype, McMillan is a very good young NHL'er, and coming back is Zack Phillips who may have the best vision of any prospect not in the NHL. If the speed catches up, watch out...

IMO Phillips was more of a byproduct of Huberdeau.

You don't score the type of goals they did alone...It went both ways, even the goals Phillips potted off of Huberdeau take incredible vision and chemistry to time and read.

Besides Phillips had 97 points, Huberdeau is good, but he isn't that good.

I think a player like Hubs can add 20 points. Phillips isn't bad or anything. I just think betting on the linemates of superstars is risky when it comes to prospects because they often need similar support at the NHL level.

There is a difference...You have to judge each player on their own merit. Not every star players linemate is Dany Roussin or Jacques Goyette. There are some Brad Richards, and Alex Tanguay's out there, you just need to recognize the difference between a player that benefits solely from playing with a great player, and a player that contributes as much as he benefits. Zack Phillips is quite clearly the latter, IMO. His only real weakness is skating, the passing and hands are indisputable...

Also worth noting is that the point differential between Phillips and Huberdeau was 10, if you look at past "greats" and "duds" like Crosby and Lemieux and Roussin and Goyette, the difference tends to be MUCH greater.

You didn't just compare Huberdeau to Lemieux and Sid, did you?

I liked McMillan when I had him and was a little upset I had to move him with Perron for Vanek, but im over it now.

Anton should enjoy the PK this kid brings. He also has a bit of offense in him too, just doesn't have the best shot or hands to go with his great skating.

35 pts, 150 shtoi, 80 hits, 40 blocks in a third line role is what i expect this season. he should be first in line for a top 6 spot when injuries hit.

That is in line with my projections as well, you definitely have a nice piece there. My only beef is with the point totals, I believe he will push 45 this season.

That's actually the opposite of what he did; but that would require some level of reading comprehension.

Not denying throwing a chirp out, but how was this out of my way?

Also Scott can take it - he was chirping Kareem but failed to read what was actually said, he'll go back and read, say "BAH" and then throw a similar surface level chirp back at me.
