this deal is huge for Shep, he landed JJ who is one of the most underrated dman in the league (last year better h2h than doughty) and last time i checked Doughty was traded for Parise 1 for 1 in this league.

then Shep adds JT, fucking Tavares, and only loses harmonic....Shep just took his team to an entirely new level with this deal, not only does he add healthy talent, he adds a future super star in tavares, and two very good prospects.

No one loses this deal, but if we have a future winner i'd give it to Shep.

Also love this for Sheppard.

Not sure who I like the trade more for, sure wish i was getting both sides. Parise most notably at this point in time though.

to me when you get the best two players and it only costs you two prospects it is a win. Just my logic.

I think hamonic is a win on JJ in real life as well, not next season but I dont see the same player in JJ as I see in hamonic on a night in, night out basis. Oh and that was just hamonics rookie year, there is more to come.

I know what you mean but Orlov is gona be solid, also JJ is not far behind Harmoniac. Then Tavares is gona be a better scorer then Parise and heatlier. The mystery guy in the deal is Galiev. Either way it was a good deal for both team.

Hamonic is not in the same realm as JJ skill wise, sure his h2h might be nice, but JJ is a premier offensive dman, shtoi will be in hamonic's favour, like bs as well... but bs stats are cheap to snag and more of a mind-set then a skill. STPTS is seriously downplayed, and JJ is unreal on the PP.

I disagree, I think Hamonic is the superior all around defenceman. Jack Johnson has shit load of skill, but he lacks the IQ or poise to put all of his tools together the way Travis does. Save for assists, goals (tied) and STPTS, Hamonic dominated JJ, and in only 62 games...

Not a bad deal but Kareem spanks imo.. JJ is big time overrated though and so is JT
