I agree, this isn't a very good deal but I needed to shed salary. Trading Johansen for Hossa put me 3.771 million over the cap. So I trade Keith for Robidas + and Rene for Hansen. 2 downgrades, but only slightly. LOL?

Hossa more then covers these 2 slight downgrades.. imho, I improved my team a lot.

Frank rapes this deal.

Frank stop thinking Hansen is a good hockey player he isn't. He puts up decent perifs in h2h but is a TRUE 3rd/4th liner in real life. He is no Baertschi.

I dont think this is terrible for Scott as he needed th cap relief, I just would have made frank add something...like a first.

Long time Rene Bourque fan here.... have tried for him a few times but the price wasn't like this; and now I don't have the cap to fit him in.

Can't wait to find out that Nick offers several 2nd Round picks + 2nd Round Prospects for Bourque while stating the idea behind his offer is "Safety in Numbers"

who-ever owned Rene at that point in time did receive that offer... and it's been broken down and used other ways so cannot work anymore. Also please see my previous post regarding cap.
