Accepted. May Luke Schenn forgive me for my disloyalty.

People will call this massive overpayment by Chuck. But IMO he walks away laughing and the East should be worried.

Yes Chuck is stronger now but now lacks assets to upgrade.

Prospects are a dime a dozen to acquire. If I ever want to get more I have one of the best assets around...his name is Luke Schenn in a league of Leaf fans...

I kind of viewed this trade as a massive win for Chuck today, and a slowly growing win for me the following years. This definitely makes me worse in the short-term, so that helps my tank. Both are stable performers, with Hornqvist improving. The number of assets I have now -- the quality in particular -- gives me some breathing room for more upgrades in the future as my team moves to competitive status next year.
I also like that Chuck is the only other person who knows who Korpikoski is.

I don`t think this is an overpayment at all, I think this is a pretty fair trade.

I think Chris wins now, and in the future, but I'm not the biggest Schenn fan in the world, so take that fwiw.

I still feel like a bag of dicks about this trade, but I'll get over it.

This, its a big win for chuck, I don't think we can use the 'rape' word, but chuck certainly wins imo

I like this for Chris tbh. Maybe Chuck in the long haul but he is gearing up to win now and Korpi will be more of an impact this year than Schenn. He isn't getting the ice time and he is not even playing like a #4 d-man. He is getting same ice time as Komi. I think he will have a bit of a slump this year.

Yea, hurts me so much, I traded Glennie, two very late 1sts and Seidenberg for Schenn and got back Tyutin, Goloubef, Tinordi, Howden, and Danault instead of a late 2012 1st and a late 2013 1st and a quickly busting prospect in Glennie.
Not exactly sure how this "hurts" me. Other than losing hits and some blocked shots, Tyutin does a lot more.
Also Kreider + Siemens to Korpikoski to Hornqvist, Smith, Lee. Might have an argument with this particular return (I'm nauseated by it, but Horny is pretty damn good), but I pretty much hit the Schenn one out of the park as far as I'm concerned. Would rather have prospects already drafted and exceeding their draft positions than waiting another year or two or three or four for the 2012 and 2013 1st Round pick players to develop.
Losing Korpikoski hurts, but I got D'Amigo, Danault, Miller, and Eakin capable of filling the void.

Schenn is worth more than he should be atm anyways, he is Robyn regher (not an insult, guy made team Canada) and Robyn isn't worth close to this. I think chris paid to much but also got too much in return so what ever. League value wise though solid trade. Also like to point out that I am loving how active chuck has been improving his team lately, going to be a hard team to beat.

Agree about Chuck. The NE is going to be a tough nut to crack. I am actually worried. Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal are stacked and buffalo is not far behind, imo.

Worst statement in BBKL history.
