Are you fucking kidding me? Vokoun is cheaper and in a much better situation, and you added Ennis and Saad on top of him to land MAF? Poor, poor trade for Buffalo.

pretty good deal if you ask me, Vokoun is old (n a good situation this year, sure) but the caps have lots of good young goalies up and coming. MAF is as elite as it gets.....plus, Chris's team is super deep and seems to roll everyone, this only makes his team better IMO.

Topher didn't even touch his lineup while improving. Pittsburgh has to be the best coached team in the NHL and have a chance to win each and every night because of it. What other team loses Sid/Geno type guys and continues to roll? Although Topher gave some value here, he made a smart trade..

You love prospects WAY too much. Holtby at best will steal Neuvy's spot. Wait till the playoffs. Vokoun's performance will make it so that he will simply not go anywhere.

Deep playoff runs can lead to GMs getting very creative. HFboards' style predicitions on an FA's status usually aren't true. If Vokoun performs in the playoffs (which odds are he will), he stays and gets a 3M-4M contract max, which he will be happy to sign and McPhee will make room for.
