Think I favour the risk of Raymond returning to form the the risk of either Ashton or Forbort making a notable NHL impact anytime soon

Agreed, Nick. Though I like the fact that if Ashton doesn't make it as a top-six winger, he's definitely going to be a great third-liner. With Forbort, the potential is there that he becomes a stud defenseman; I'm hoping he calls it a career in the NCAA at the conclusion of this season.

Ye I haven't followed Forbort, so my opinion on him is yet to really form, just not interesting yet.
Ashton is fun, good all around player no doubt and something the NHL Lightning are missing

Shiv offered similar deal on frolik, I said what u offered for frolik (raymond +).... 1 hour later this deal was done lol!!
Good all around trade imo!!
