If Versteeg continues his pace and Elliott pans out to what most think he'll be, I absolutely love this deal for Stevie. Solid deal though

i needed to replace the offence i lost in our deal (seguin), i did it without touching any active players from my current roster.

Agreed. Elliott's projects to be an offensive wizard.. I really like him.

Ye I say I like for shiv because versteeg cannot maintain this pace, IMO, and I've never been a believer in Elliot. And IMO Myers is #1 potential, as soon as this year!

That's such a risky point of view... the kind of a view where it can only be expressed publically only if you are some sorta proven career fantasy genius who can pretty much tell the future... because the scoring sheet/stats/scouting/trend of the NHL NOW really doesn't say so, and in contrast, Myers have been nothing but struggle this year. Not to say the Myers is a bad player, but the other points I'm sure is arguable. Versteeg won't hit 90 pts thats for sure... but I can def see 80 in the works.
