Green + Frolik + 1st for Phaneuf is still not bad though.

Nice haul for Paul...still haven't figured out the fascination with Frolik. He was a talented guy but he's a volume shooter with not a lot of goals and he's killing penalties with Chicago after not doing it much in Florida. He's okay but to get two NHL defensemen and a 1st...wow. Good on him to get Liles in a sell low situation with the concussion problems...he'll be a good player when he's back and playing. Nick obviously sheds salary and gets a healthy body that can contribute for two injured players and a mid-1st. Long term, I think this is better off for Paul.

No doubt! I just passed on Liles at a low, didn't pay much for him, didn't get much for him. Went at Paul with a big offer, he asked for another body, and whammy, deal done. Probably shouldn't have included Smith, but hey, changed a bunch of stuff.
