It means a lot of things. One, I got your pick, and given FLA's relative youth, I think they'll slide. Markstrom's out for the next little while too. So this could dually help the NW division because you no longer have a stable stead of goaltending. Don't get me wrong, it's a terrific deal for you. Just helps me quite a bit (I hope).

Not a big fan of this deal Arian, you really landed nothing substantial for one of the best goaltenders in the league.

couldn't disagree more with Scott on this one, how this doesn't benefit a team like Arian is beyond me, this might be the best bbkl cycle of all time. He paid me Steve Mason for Rinne 2 years ago, then flips him and pretty much builds his team going forward.

IMO this deal makes kareem stronger this season, but this deal will also put Arian into the top 5 in the West next year. IMO it's a big win win deal, the bigger win on Arian's side.

This deal is worse that the one I said you shouldn't do last night.

I have two theories

1. You guys are either super pussies of Kareem's team now

2. You're blind to what Arian's team needs - this deal was killer for his team.


So, to make a long story short, i'm reading these comments and assuming you're pussies and dislike one of Arian and/or Kareem.

The Preds are about to lose their 2 best dman, no one wants to sign there, Rinne is about to make 7mil per year over the next 8000 years.....Markstrom is one of the best goalie prospects in the world, PAP is one heck of a bbkler, he landed very good prospects in Biggs and Holland. He landed a solid duo in Jose and Clem's....

goodness, this is how you turn a team around. I was also reading about Rinne's goalie stats last night....he's a career .890 goalie with one of weber and suter out of the lineup, and he could essentially lose both this summer.........this deal couldn't have worked out better for arain.
