3 - 2 - 1.8 ???

Post by Nick »

Anyone else see the clock in LA?

5
4
3
2
1.8 and it stops
starts again and
.4 = goal

damn.... sure seems filthy; on the TSN highlights check out the clock, final 5 seconds of the game. After the Colton Gillies goal highlight, just watch the clock.

Lots of score clocks have delays when it comes down to seconds and using 1-2 decimal places for tenths and hundredths of a second.

Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger
The NHL is investigating why the clocked stopped last night in LA. Regardless of findings, the outcome of the game stands.

That was unreal. How does that even happen? Did some idiot accidentally hit the "stop" button on the clock?

Something clearly happened. Someone hacked that MOFO. Why the hell would the game stand if in reality the game was over when the goal was scored?

seems pretty obvious to me that whoever was operating the clock thought the puck was covered and the play was dead and hit stop prematurely, then quickly realized his mistake and restarted it.

probably thinking "please dont score...please dont sc......FUCK!...better get my resume ready"

It did. In Toronto, in fact. I only vaguely recall the details, but the Raptors lost that game, even though the time was in their favour.
