It was pretty obvious the guys in there to try and get Vanek cheap, and the guys that were legitimately trying to get Vanek with good value, without being forced into a bidding war.

It was fun, such a variety of offers.

I think I paid fair value.. sligt overpayment but getting the best player deserves that. No big deal.. I'm super happy with the trade.

Good deal all around, I probably would have taken jimmy hayes, but still a good deal for shep and scott both!
