Justification for trade, I'd much rather pick Couturier over whatever dman is available at 5th overall at draft. Flame on flamers.

100% agree with you.. unless Galchenyuk is availible at 5. or that pick wins the lotto.

I also like the trade for you, although I might prefer Dumba... tough to say.

Yeah Dumba's pretty legit, but I have a gut feeling that Galchenyuk/Dumba go 3/4 and at 5th that's not good for me.

+ With Hamilton, Elliott and Gormley.. that's enough elite d prospects for me, offense future needed upgrading bad.

langkow for couturier is pretty lateral at this point in time (obviously couturier has a whole career ahead of him but as of this season, it's even)
so lankgow slots in for couturier and i lose virtually nothing. then i get a top 5 pick that is guaranteed to be one of yakupov, grigorenko, forsberg, dumba, or glachenyuk.

Inb4 filip forsberg, but actually its sort of a toss up between them imo, fact of the matter is that murrayy is an nhl defender nnext year and his value is going to rise suddenly.
