I'd vote for Lee, but I don't think he's getting any better, just the fruits of his trades are ripening.

I read "most improved
GM"... and as Kareem would say "hard to improve when your starting point is the sky", or something like that
but seriously, i think i'm still the same GM that i was a couple of yrs ago, only... my team should naturally improve over time because it's full of youngsters.
as for trades, i guess i will lose some more while trimming, like in the past.

As the gm improve, so is the team. Simple as that. So I picked the team that improved most

Its funny as I looked at the names they are 5 guys who I feel have stayed the same since day 1. All guys that have their values and that's that. Not saying there is anything wrong with that I just don't see much changing in any of these guys lol.

Yeah, I don't see myself as the most improved GM, so I didn't and won't vote for myself. I've been a good GM this whole time, I think me winning last year was based on my attitude improvement. The person I voted for was based on him finally making some trades

Most improved is hong, IMO. He went from being a patient guy letting his team develop, to making some really key trades that sacrificed some of his beloved young talent that hadn't full developed last year to improve his team for the NOW. He's still got his values and can be stubborn with certain players, but his values have changed and his key is on winning ASAP (while still developing his young talent) as opposed to taking the really slow approach and letting his shit develop.

That is actually dumb.. doing it right on the year when we have no NHL season?

He did it last season and came 2nd in the West after missing the playoffs. That would be what I am referring to.

Hong was one of the first GMs mentioned but we decided that after being considered for this same award the past 2 years; he's become a known commodity and has been rather consistent for a while now. Therefore we felt he no longer qualified this time around.
