we never should have considered trading lou. I have been team lou all along. Id rather tandem it and wait for our players to get healthy.

Ya either backup would do the trick .. im sure they could play half decent in the 10 games they would see.

It would be Scrivens+ something. Some sort of secondary option. Not sure what that would be though.

Lou would be good for the leafs for another , 3 or 4 years. Then when hes old and on his way out we are right back to the exact same position we have been in since belfour retired. Looking for a goalie.

The leafs are also not anywhere near talented enough to win the cup. So why waste any assets for lou? Why not just see what we actuaLly hVe in reimer? If he sucks we likely get a good pick.if he is good.bonus!

No we just traded two firsts in a time when our team was clearly terrible, with no goaltending. Not to mention kessel wws hurt to start the year. The writing was alllllll over the wall with regards to us being shit.

Kessel is a great player of course. But hes more a comlimentary player that you add to a team who already has most of its core building blocks
