BBKL's been slow as fuck as you can tell. I'm gonna try to find a better host.
Suggestions welcomed if you have any.
When we make the transition it won't quite be seamless. I'll give you guys a temporary address (IP address) until the domain transfer goes through.

I have some private hosting I pay for as well. The problem is our software seems pretty resource intensive and - though we don't use a lot of bandwidth, we do seems to use a lot of processing power.
I sent an e-mail to my hosting guys asking if they can accommodate me, and that I'm willing to up my service if they can guarantee smooth service.

And fuck free hosting. I'd rather pay 10-20 a month than have to deal with the outages.

Ah - gotcha. Btw - random idea but it wouldn't be a bad idea to setup a Paypal account for BBKL that we can all pitch into. It would help the guys who seem to be taking on a majority of the costs.

I've successfully moved a copy <this isn't it> of the forum to another host. Unfortunately it's up to date as of several hours ago.
Later tonight (hopefully) I'm going to disable the forum - prob for an hour or so - redownload the content, make the new (temporary) site live, and then replace the bbkl.ca index with a link to the new version.
Within a day or so bbkl.ca will begin pointing to the new version.
Hopefully it'll be seamless, but can't be sure until we have 10/20 guys on there using it.
