Matchup 1: Toronto at Washington:

A matchup between two Eastern powerhouses, it remains to be seen whether or not Mike will continue to power through the Eastern conference, or if the addition of James Neal's offense to an already potent Washington squad can make the difference.

Matchup 2: Montreal at New Jersey:

Another slugfest between titans; the additions of Parise, and Pavelski would serve to make any team better, however when added to an already strong Montreal core they are perhaps enough to elevate Montreal to the next level. Perhaps the triple-headed Staal's in New Jersey will have something to say about that, despite brother Marc being out indefinitely with an eye injury.
