Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
meh, played on Tuesday and will get 3 games on the week.Shep wroteCOLONSemin likely out all week. There goes my best player.
On the other hand, Pouliot went from playing (well) with Stamkos and StLouis to being mysteriously scratched; that hurts.
Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
I expect Bob's heroics won't be enough to get the G stats, as i'm facing my nightmare M.Smith. I don't think whenever i faced him in fantasy he ever gave up more than one freaking goal in a game.
currently: 1.01, .972%, W
previous round: 1.62, 0.948%, 3W
in 2 previous years if i remember correctly i lost all G stats despite some good numbers, which means my opponent stats were of the same mold... (i see CBS doesn't archive previous years matchups, ugh, and 2010 RS results were lost as well)
this year i may win my first playoff G stat with Bob shutout, but that alone would certainly not be enough.

Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
that was a nightmare night, and in both leagues i'm into.Shep wroteCOLON2 GWG and a great goalie outing. I can live with that on a slow night for games.
Personal FU to Girardi and Dubnik for giving up for free JVS assist and moreover Vermette's GWG.
HM for Mr Geztlaf and his 'defense' on Landerskog's GWG.
Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
I'll take a minus for Mr Getz because it means he is at least on the ice.
Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
I have to admit, Mike Smith shows up when it counts. He did this last year in the playoffs too, in 3 games netting a shutout and another game with a .929 SV%.

Who was your G when you ejected me in my 1st season? 2011 playoffs, that is.

Bryz I think.kyuss wroteCOLONWho was your G when you ejected me in my 1st season? 2011 playoffs, that is.
I've had the PHX tandem for a long time now. Smith this and last season, Bryz before that.

Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
oh ya, and Bryz pulled the exact same shit as Mike freaking Smith
Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
It's the system. Not the goalie. Bryz and Smith are both terrible goalies.
Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
Didn't I trade you the Smith version of PHX goalies? For like nothing?Shep wroteCOLONBryz I think.kyuss wroteCOLONWho was your G when you ejected me in my 1st season? 2011 playoffs, that is.

Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
looks like Pouliot is out again, and probably Galiardi won't be fit enough to play.
This is going bad.

Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
He's been a healthy scratch the past couple of games according to TBL beat writer.
Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
apparently some crap about evaluating young/new players for next season.. :tanking:
Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
Bob keeps some feeble hope alive, despite the early&stupid Shattenkirk goal.
Re: WC 2nd Round: Nashville @ St.Louis
Well, the Malkin late scratch was the finishing touch on a terrible week where only a fantastic Bobrovsky kept me in the game.
looks like my team came out of that hard fought series against LA banged up lol.
I am still 2nd among playoffs teams in SOG and that puts me like 30 behind you shep... as per tradition, Blues are the best offensive team in the league when i face them.
Oh well, at least i got the best out of PHX G's this time around!
Congrats Shep and good luck the rest of the way!
