Meh, even if he did, there's almost no risk.
Other than O'Reilly, I gave up scrubs with practically no fantasy value.

just for those who are gaga over O'Reilly. Fiddlers stat line is SOLID. in comparison to O'Reilly as well. imo fiddler is one of the BEST depth centers to have. and nate got andy greene. solid deal for both teams imo.

Nice double edit job, btw. Just so everyone else can get in on the bashing:
Pre-edit 1: Mike Milbury comparison
Pre-edit 2: Carolina will have difficulty getting the GP min and salary cap min

It was there for less than one minute. You plunged the turds out of the sewer that were already a passing thought

Does the trade really need insight as to why it's bad?

I'm trading one asset with value. The rest are garbage and don't give me the games played BS.
Greene is likely gonna take over as the #2 dman in New Jersey. He's still relatively young, with a solid cap hit. Fiddler is underrated and offers the same stats as O'Reilly, albeit doesn't have the offensive potential O'Reilly offers.
Btw, Shiv traded:
Pavel Kubina
1st
3rd
4th
4th
5th
Future considerations
for
Andy Greene

Those "garbage" assets can still gain you assets Nate.. hence why I'm sure Shiv wanted them in the deal.. he sees the potential to gain from these "garbage" pieces. Staios, Tucker, & Shannon are NHL players and I can think of a few GMs around the league that could use a few of those..
You gave up the best (by a landslide) asset when it comes to BBKL value and the bigger package.. I completely do not understand this trade.
