Fantasy hockey websites.

Post by shooker »

A bunch of buddies and I are going to start a smaller money league, about 8-12 teams, and I was wondering what the best site would be to host that league. Is Yahoo free? I tried to look at it today but the fantasy hockey part of it is in offseason mode, I'm guessing for maintenance, so I was unable to get a better idea of what they offered. Anyways, if anyone has any suggestions of sites to use, it would be much appreciated.

Yahoo is nice, and free. Not sure about keeper though. Haven't looked around much as I don't think any other than CBS cater to 30-team leagues.

If it is free, I already like the sounds of it. It won't be a keeper league either, basically just looking for a bit more in depth than your average hockey pool but by no means needs more then a once a week check to set rosters. If it allows for a few extras so we can choose who we play and allows for trades that is perfect.

that is awesome to hear actually. We wont have 20 teams I don't think. Smaller team number to make sure talent level is pretty high. I also stumbled across a new scoring system (wouldn't work for bbkl as it would under value role players too much) but it made is so out of the top 25 players, 9 were forwards, 9 were dmen and 7 were goalies. I think it is a pretty awesome system, for smaller team leagues. Glad to hear this site will allow for it.

CBS suits BBKL needs perfectly... I've yet to find another site that tracks salary and allows place holders for picks, prospects, etc.
