Yup. Still took him 2 days and you saying you'd do it to get this posted lol.Big Fun wroteCOLONtony wins
If Elliott pans out, I win. If he doesn't Tony wins. But I think Elliott will. His skating and puck movement ability is too high and the Avs don't have anyone like him.Big Fun wroteCOLONwe've all been there, you gotta take the lesser players to add depth...
not a horrible deal, but it's nice adding a top pairing dman for a 2nd liner!
elliott is a nice little player tho, hopefully he doesn't suck this year and bounces back to the flashes he showed 2 years ago
elliott was pretty much shit last year, in the ahl and nhl....i think even if elliott pans out this trade with be even - at best....stalberg doesn't pk or get many assists.SuperMario wroteCOLONIf Elliott pans out, I win. I like Barrie but he's a little different IMO. I think Elliott gets a chance to run that team's PP.kyuss wroteCOLONBarrie?SuperMario wroteCOLON If Elliott pans out, I win. If he doesn't Tony wins. You think Stalberg has hit his ceiling? I don't think he has.Big Fun wroteCOLONelliott was pretty much shit last year, in the ahl and nhl....i think even if elliott pans out this trade with be even - at best....stalberg doesn't pk or get many assists.SuperMario wroteCOLONIf Elliott pans out, I win. better start playing differently than last year or Elliott might not play at all.. to run the PP he needs to gain a safe spot on the team first.SuperMario wroteCOLONI like Barrie but he's a little different IMO. kids a bust, have you watched him play hockey? not that good at all, I can totally see why he's getting passed in the depth charts.SuperMario wroteCOLONAgreed. I don't worry about a player like Elliott though. If he doesn't make it this year, he'll make it next year. He's still 22 and has plenty of time/opportunity left to make an impact.

kid was overhyped to begin with. I was working near Saskatoon back to back winters and got to see a lot of his junior career, always disliked him. Even at the junior level his flaws were always visible, he has a lot of work to do before he makes it. I would call him a boom or bust prospect but I think its too early to just outright call him a bust.cliff11 wroteCOLONkids a bust, have you watched him play hockey? not that good at all, I can totally see why he's getting passed in the depth charts.SuperMario wroteCOLONAgreed.
